The SPS offers a wide range of management careers. As well as careers in operational management we have management opportunities across all our support functions such as HR, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and IT.
We ensure all our managers are well equipped and provided with the support and development they need to lead our people. Continuous learning and development is a cornerstone of our management ethos.
We provide extensive development that ranges from local coaching and mentoring to qualifications in Leadership and Management. We also regularly sponsor staff members to undertake further qualifications. At present this includes a small group of staff from all levels of our organisation undertaking a fully sponsored Masters in Penology and Applied Criminology through the University of Cambridge.
